Artist in Residence
Our monthly Artist in Residence is a philanthropic platform for artists who wish to support their community.
What does an AiR do?
Every month, a new ASB Artist in Residence will work more closely with us. AIRs usually:
design a couple of guided creative activities for our printed activity book where your bio and work will be featured
share a design to colour in
help run a workshop in the Hospitals and Centres where we work (if possible)
support our ASB mission more broadly
This scheme offers a philanthropic platform for artists and gives us the opportunity, in turn, to support the artist community. We design and produce the material and feature AIR story and work in our actvity book and on social media.
We are thankful to our growing community of notable artists who volunteer to creatively support our programmes.

ASB resources centre on unique colouring-in artworks donated by artists and creatives from all walks of life alongside crowd-sourced drawings submitted by people of all ages and abilities, across the world. So that at its roots ours is a co-created, community-fuelled, community-serving organisation. There is a beautiful shared humanity in this interweaving of lines drawn from one heart to another - ultimately filled with colour by connecting hands.
